It may vary depending on the brand of the product, but the ideal is to always take it on an empty stomach, on an empty stomach, 2 hours after a meal or 30 minutes before the next meal. Dosage also varies depending on the product.

Immediately after training.

30 to 60 minutes before bed.
Multivitamins
After any meal.
Glutamine
Post-workout, it can be mixed with Whey, Dextrose and even Creatine.
